You gain experience per hit; once full, your level increases and you get attribute points. Use the points that you earned to increase your status to make your training easier. For example, you can invest in power to increase the damage per hit and invest in speed to increase the number of attacks per second. Rebirth once you have the requirements to get status boosts.
